ROW DTLA | Seismic Retrofits

HD Geosolutions, Inc. provided geotechnical engineering services over the course of five years for the recently-completed ROW DTLA development. First known as the LA Terminal Market and built along the Southern Pacific Railroad, ROW DTLA is now a two-million-square-foot campus consisting of creative offices, green spaces, shops, and restaurants. The geotechnical engineering involved renovation and seismic retrofit of three large century-old warehouse buildings. Other improvements included issues of demolition and remedial grading between buildings, new pavements, and vehicular tunnels connecting two basements.

HD Geosolutions, Inc. provided geotechnical services for numerous development phases. From earthwork, to basement wall design, to existing and new foundations, our staff provided numerous engineering solutions and construction options, and our deliverables consistently met with the approval of the City reviewers. We are proud to have worked with the various teams on this landmark development.
